iglidur G
iglidur G is part of the igus iglidur range of engineering-polymer (tribopolymer) dry-running plain bearings — injection-moulded self-lubricating plastic composite bushings. The polymer analogue of Bushingo's flagship self-lubricating bearing. Where Metafram BP25 (oil-impregnated sintered bronze) is the metal default for maintenance-free running, iglidur G is the engineering-polymer default — choose G over BP25 when corrosion immunity, chemical/moisture exposure, low weight or edge-loading tolerance matter more than the higher load and thermal limits of bronze.
