iglidur X
iglidur X is part of the igus iglidur range of engineering-polymer (tribopolymer) dry-running plain bearings — injection-moulded self-lubricating plastic composite bushings. The high-temperature / chemical-duty specialist of the range. Where Bushingo would reach for Metafram SO16 sintered alloy or FP20 sintered iron for elevated-temperature metal bearings, iglidur X is the polymer route when the deciding factor is chemical attack or corrosion that would degrade a metal bushing — an all-polymer alternative to metallic maintenance-free bearings in aggressive media.
