Cylindrical BP25 sintered-bronze bushings are plain, flangeless journal bearings — the workhorse self-lubricating bush for supporting rotating or oscillating shafts where no axial shoulder is required. Each is a powder-metallurgy sintered-bronze sleeve with an interconnected porous structure vacuum-filled with lubricating oil; under load and motion the oil is drawn out to form a supporting film and reabsorbed at rest, giving maintenance-free running with no grease points and no risk of contaminating the product being handled.
This is Bushingo's widest bushing range, covering bores from Ø2 up to Ø125 mm in three size bands — 02–15, 16–32 and 35–125 — with each size defined simply by bore (Ø Int.), outside diameter (Ø Ext.) and length. Sintered bronze of this class runs quietly, conforms to minor shaft misalignment and typically operates to around 100 °C continuous at low-to-moderate speed and steady load. Bushings are a press fit into a rigid housing; the bore contracts on assembly, so tables reflect the mounted condition and any final sizing should be by ball-burnishing or light reaming rather than heavy cutting, which would close the pores.
