Industrial Impregnation & Re-Impregnation Oils

4 products · Technical support and worldwide supply

The lubricant held inside an oil-impregnated sintered bearing is the working part of the system, so choosing and replenishing the correct oil matters as much as the bush itself. These industrial oils are used to impregnate freshly machined blanks and to re-impregnate or top up bushings whose oil content has been depleted by long service or by machining. Correct impregnation fills the interconnected porosity so the bearing can release oil to the sliding surface and draw it back by capillary action.

The range is matched to the bearing grades and duties: a general impregnation oil for BP25 bronze and FP20 iron bushings (TURBO T100); a dedicated oil for the SO16 alloy grade (METADOP); a food-grade oil for hygienic and food-contact machinery (PE1152, supplied in 1-litre packs); and a wide-temperature oil rated from −40 °C to +150 °C for cold and hot environments (PE1116). Selecting the grade-appropriate oil preserves the intended running characteristics of the bush.

How to choose

  • BP25 bronze or FP20 iron bushings/blanks → TURBO T100 general impregnation oil.
  • SO16 alloy grade → METADOP.
  • Food, beverage or hygienic equipment needing a food-contact lubricant → PE1152 food-grade oil (1 L).
  • Cold-store or high-temperature service → PE1116, rated −40 °C to +150 °C.
  • Always re-impregnate a blank or bush after machining to restore full oil saturation before fitting.
